Christina Gray is a former software development project manager who first ran for a seat in the Legislature in 2008 as an NDP candidate, where she placed third. She ran again in 2015 and won a seat, and in 2016 she became the Minister of Labour as well as the Minister Responsible for Democratic Renewal. She won re-election with the NDP in 2019 as a member of the Official Opposition. She has a career in software, working as a developer, instructor, and consultant in her field. She lives in Edmonton with her husband.
