Histories of Alberta's Parties

This page contains a fairly comprehensive history of each party currently registered in Alberta, including the parties they have roots in (such as the PCs and Wildrose, through the UCP). Great effort has been taken to make these histories as accurate as possible - however, if there are errors, we will immediately work to correct them. These party histories were written to best reflect what Albertans want or need to know about the parties, as well as information that might simply be a fun fact or an interesting piece of history. However, every party has been presented on equal footing and from an unbiased perspective, and great care has been taken to make sure that every party is being presented on the facts of its origins and not any biases or preconceived notions about them.
