An Act to Protect Public Health Care
This Act focuses on the regulations surrounding private health care. This includes prohibiting a person from charging or collecting extra when a patient is provided an insured service, and also establishes that fee-based private health organizations are considered to have done that if they charge a patient a block billing fee, the service is covered by insurance and performed by a doctor who's made an agreement with the facility, and the service was either provided on a date covered by the block billing date, or it was charged as a condition of provision of the service.
